Clouds 04:32
Once more departing My spiritland and finally free I saw Kamala With other plans she waits for me And I don't want to see what's in my head But I can't leave until I've found it Now the love for you we'll bury in the ground Now I'm dancing with the angels in the clouds Now the love for you we'll bury in the ground Now we're dancing with the angels in the clouds I was lost somewhere inside of that seasonal deep Running down my hands and eyes were these golden streams I left the temple To chase this daughter of the moon My soul is empty As solitude fades out of view Now the love for you we'll bury in the ground Now we're dancing with the angels in the clouds Now the love for you we'll bury in the ground Now we're dancing with the angels in the clouds I know it's only chemical One day won't feel these things at all I know it's only love One day won't feel anything at all I know it's only chemical One day won't feel these things at all I know it's only love I was lost somewhere inside of that seasonal deep Running down my hands and eyes were these golden streams

Swirling 03:03
Swirling keep me afloat in the daydream I am constantly mean Swirling operator operator fix me Feel my world under siege You're right I'm really not supposed to like this hollow act But now my eyes have nothing on the inside Swirling pulls the elastic under my face In unforgiving shapes Swirling loosens the hold of the great chain While I plan my escape You're right I'm really not supposed to like this hollow act But now my eyes have nothing on the inside Swirling feel rock 'n' roll while I flow Dakota waterways bleed Swirling keep me afloat oh I hope I can drink from all my streams You're right I'm really not supposed to like this hollow act But now my eyes have nothing on the inside You're right I'm really not supposed to Your love brings me back you know I try to find it on the inside

BEACON 05:04
I’ve been searching for the beauty in anything Trying to see if there’s a beauty in suffering As I woke up I remembered the doctrine Of infinite kindness, a boundless love is beckoning We were spun like a blanket from the ancient hands of earthly time Saw the Armada of my pride Rolling in on the coming tide Up on Beacon Hill The Earth stood still Up on Beacon Hill And I was filled with empty space in my veins (Thoughts are just floating balloons at the fair) How does the tempest roll back with your breath At my behest it bared the most beautiful blue In these fleeting moments I perceive the absolute connect between all things Between us is the truth But when all that you can see is suffering Makes you wonder, is it safe to light the beacon And my song was delivered from an ancient voice within my mind Saw the Armada of my pride Rolling in on the coming tide Up on Beacon Hill The Earth stood still Up on Beacon Hill And I was filled with empty space in my veins Saw the Armada of my pride Rolling in on the coming tide Saw the Armada of my pride Rolling in on the coming tide Saw the Armada of my pride Rolling in on the coming tide Saw the Armada of my pride Rolling in on the coming tide Saw the Armada of my pride Rolling in on the coming tide Up on Beacon Hill The Earth stood still Up on Beacon Hill And I was filled with empty space in my veins

Landkeepers in disused lines Are drinking California wine And new machines Wait in the wings Inventions dressed as relief The valley has become a thief And now the dream Is behind a screen I woke early to dial into some sacred frequency I woke early to dial into some sacred frequency I woke early to dial into some sacred frequency Before diving into the drudgery You know I had to go Before diving into the drudgery You know I had to go Hypnotised by my routine Curate my security I dreamed so long (I've been dreaming so long) That the world was gone (Where has the world gone?) I woke early to dial into some sacred frequency I woke early to dial into some sacred frequency Before diving into the drudgery You know I had to go Before diving into the drudgery You know I had to go Before diving into the drudgery Just hold on to the sides Just hold on to my mind Where everything resides There was violence on both sides There was chaos in my mind

Head 04:05
Don't know if I am on the train or if I'm getting hit I follow the path each time but lose the trail 'cause it's dimly lit I pay my tab each day costing more everytime They're coming thick and slow wherever I go they're coming with Flies They can seek straight when they dive Lines Can fly far when you're on time Take one wrong step you're out the door not needed anymore The blood is cold the milk is old and I don't want a bowl I tear the hole each week I stitch it up everytime Don't matter how many times 'cause it always feels like I'm wasting nine Flies They can seek straight when they dive Lines Can fly far when you're on time

EkoEko 04:48
These stories never have beginnings Hard to believe something so unconvincing I'll never know why I'm under a stained glass dome And there's no way round, no way out Half a lifetime of losing focus buzzing alive I swear that there's no village inside this city, that is a lie Half a million times the world predicts itself I never saw what's hidden beyond the continental shelf And all the trials that you hated Stuck in a life that's simulated I'll never trace why I filled up with empty space With no beginning just an ending I swear I saw your face inside a mushroom cloud I swear that everyone hears me crystal clear when I don't make a sound Half a million times the world predicts itself I never saw what's hidden beyond the continental shelf I'm a victim of this luxury To feel more alive in memories All the stories we heard about the idiot king All of the myths that shook us before they started happening Half a million times the world repeats itself I never saw what's hidden beyond the continental shelf

Lungs 04:53
I cut you down so I can read, We gather round the fire in your belly. Learn how we made your people bleed, My eyes burn like the fire you are keeping. All my friends are working for free, To save their mother There won't be another. Just trying to live naturally, I seek the Forest Language In the Autumn. We cut open the Lungs of the Land. Looking for fragments of golden air. After the fire we could not breathe, After the fire we lived in denial. Share broken pictures on a screen, Get into bed and hide under the covers. Against the crystal magic sky, You know the one that bleeds from blue to orange. They say the blood will never dry, I wonder why our eyes are closed to wonder. Protectors cut down with the trees, Why are we scared of these primal connections? Trying to find community, But cut adrift I float into tomorrow. We cut open the Lungs of the Land. Looking for fragments of golden air. Truth is like a waterfall, Sweeps me along an image of forgiveness. Highest heavens form a pool, You drink the water then you will remember. Fill my room with pretty flowers: Orchid Power. We cut open the Lungs of the Land. Looking for fragments of golden air.

Every morning I need To find new ways to light my fire Every morning I need To find new ways to get me higher So summon the spirit in the beginning See what manifests in you So summon the spirit in the beginning There is endless trauma to unearth Now I cry under broken trees Restrained by concrete (One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, who put all the trees in heaven?) Now I cry under broken trees (One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, who put all the trees in heaven?) Restrained by concrete and assholes There she was Riding rings around us In the sky Marble green Eyes shone down upon earth Where she lies You are wasting your days If you don't burn with fury If electric doesn't flow through you You are wasting your days If you don't burn with fury If electric doesn't flow through you I try to break free But innocence burned in the fire We have all that we need We're crucified by our desires of getting higher I killed off the ego in the mirror Gamma ray right through my brain I summoned the spirit and it delivered There is endless beauty to unearth Now I cry under broken trees Restrained by concrete (One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, who put all the trees in heaven?) Now I cry under broken trees (One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, who put all the trees in heaven?) Restrained by concrete and assholes There she was Riding rings around us In the sky Marble green Eyes shone down upon earth Where she lies There she was Riding rings around us In the sky Marble green Eyes shone down upon earth Where she lies You are wasting your days If you don't burn with fury If electric doesn't flow through you You are wasting your days If you don't burn with fury If electric doesn't flow through you

Metta 05:34
I've set a new intention It's just amelioration I try to fix things in my mind Just radiate the golden light I've found the true religion (He's found the true religion) Endless are these connections Send out the love you have inside You'll find you can't hold back the tide Just let down your guard Feel the Earth within your heart It's all too beautiful to say Dive deeper in to spaces in your head Dissolve the trauma you inherited Strange faces seep in to your dreams Open yourself to everything Live in peace, may I be well Live with ease, may you be well Live in peace, may I be well Live with ease, may you be well Live in peace, may I be well Live with ease, may you be well Live in peace, may I be well Live with ease Just let down your guard Feel the Earth within your heart It's all too beautiful It's all too beautiful It's all too beautiful to say I feel the pulses burning I feel the whole world turning Sometimes is easy to forget my love You send out love Send out love Oh send out love You send out love Send my love, my love Send out love Just send out love out love out love

about

"Like Ty Segall and Tame Impala hijacked the Yellow Submarine. We have a sneaking suspicion it will be our soundtrack for the summer and beyond." (The Revue)

"A psych-rock smash up with thoughtful lyrics and a decent grasp on socio-demographic politics. In other words, a switched on, savvy and talented band. Get into this." (Fresh On The Net)

"Both a striking ode to nature, in particular trees, and a wake-up call for all those who are in denial...We need bands like these right now who emphasize those urgent world problems." (Turn Up The Volume!)

the mighty orchid king has been like a rampike in the wilderness disintegrating and decaying but still resisting — kerouac’s spontaneous song from the mountains still peels through the rusty air — but pulled apart by restless tides of mind and unable to keep feet on the ground or eyes closed — only a fool would sit in silence and temper these waves but the clever fool finds the board and rides to shore without being overwhelmed by the onslaught — seeking green counsel waiting for a different world to spin out of the magic carpet of the night trusting the silent conversation of slowly realising forms is what the world really needs to heal just articulated over a thousand years — endlessly ruminates the meaning of the empty space — if all the clouds dissolved and the colours too the clutches and pictures became rendered in this empty space would our problems melt away if we all realised this kindness will conduct an everyday ballet — everyday is a radical opportunity we can be infinitely compassionate and kind to everyone we meet bring a love so overwhelming befriending every moment — but think on the wheezing lungs of the living earth

snakehead curse has deepened and now forms a split between allegiances to the world and to sanity — if only the rumbles above could cease could lie with these dreams a while longer might make them reality there is a code somewhere that is never reached — dark days rolling in again wading through planting flowers in the depleted soil sees the suffering and turns inwards before seeking empty bliss free from the trifles of the world — falling back into old ways knowing it cannot last — the land was parched for months at a time and ran following the water’s course as a flowing sense of stability while all else began to fragment —this could be a way to spend the days running scared unsure of what those hills might usher in moving endlessly listening to the rhythms of nature and respecting the terrain until runner and landscape began to merge — finds comfort in the ancient rhythm of the trees but it is an electrified forest buzzing with new possibilities new ways of seeing — complete psychedelic experience ideas arrived faster than could be comprehended — long-held fascination about human kindness in nature smiles and passing comments about the weather — hashtags and tie-ins commit to one hundred days of lotus meditation — the flicker of the imagination as footfall unearths some ancient spirit from the ground — opened the screen again not changing the world but pouring heart everything has been done but we still have a great deal more healing to do — deep intention for the now take the seeds of Metta and apply it give my pieces away and not expect a fair return to give is to be content

the samana pulled from slumber in the spiritland to the wastes behind drawn in by an old flicker of the moon daughter who paints a picture so vivid it’s like dreams returning and a marauding gang of peace warriors — a gang a community renewed again by our improvised conversations this week powerful energy runs through our veins — we are in tune with each other attend to our ways — you are of the earth — you are soil nothing more and the earth is screaming for you to return to roll in the mud for the endless connections — you will awaken the wisdom the knowledge that we are building ourselves out of — burn the machines the ones that decimate the ancient trees we thought the world would listen — the rifles of this revolution will be the very fabric of this land peaceful trees radicalised by an unknown hand to shake loose the colonisers for good — under a beautiful new sky take the infrastructure and share it for all — a utopia in the heart of darkness blossomed into the most magical evening bringing mad joy and fever to the bridge surrounded by colour plants and movement dancers interweave us like tendrils sun beat across faces and the city in april smiling — making plans on the bridge like some drunks in the broken city — happiness is reserved for those fleeting moments — drums lead the way take all the buzzing masses to the queen bee of the land but fled to a different hive — her voice is electric

there was something worth expressing but it wasn’t unique — only version was something no one else could say a fire that will only ever light once then burn away — the secret is we all have treasure locked away so often untouched by the rituals in our lives and loves that it goes unspoken a vital puzzle piece goes missing delaying our salvation for another generation we have stories to tell even if we fear or positively despise them and it is our duty while on the earth to let them out as song words images movement or a psychedelic combination of all senses firing at once — spontaneity is the door to understanding — dream the passing night a mountain rise strive to hold place to establish roots to be there as a place for others to land to look back sometimes setting aside what feels golden these obsessions will one day turn dust so will all - trying to pour into a space more eternal forgiving loving endless drift into the patchwork of the night at the limits of our imaginations we are sailing through the very limits of our imagined universe farther out the impossible is a reality swirling chaos beneath which some sacred essence must lurk but for whom is this spectacle what use is a painting if we may only inhabit one stroke of the canvas

now more than ever need to relight the beacons — conjure up a mantra for the earth and for humans the integration of people and land and the magical mystery that is life and why it’s worth protecting — plant the seeds of wild culture learn the wild improvisations of nature — open conversations dialogues awaken the deep parts of your fragility — the story moves on when we can witness the teaching in our bones

the end of all of this
will be compassion for all things
including the self
i hope to love without harming without conditions
